 | Display cases typically use conventional, low-efficiency, shaded pole motors. When shopping for new units, look for display cases with energy-efficient motors, such as split capacitor or electronically commutated motors. If you do not have plans to replace the display cases anytime soon, consider replacing the shaded pole motors with more energy-efficient ones. Since display cases operate 24 hours a day, your energy savings can be substantial. |
