Find Offers

Knowledge is power, and choice in the new energy market allows you to do some comparison shopping. This website will help you compare the rate your utility charges for energy supply as well as the pricing and service options offered by ESCOs. When reviewing options, be sure to consider credits and potential tax savings that are only available to ESCO customers.

The Power To Choose site is just one tool to use in making your selection of an energy supplier. Please contact ESCOs and/or green power providers for the most up-to-date information about pricing and services being offered.

Prices can vary significantly from month to month due to market conditions and weather. In addition, new offers are constantly being added to the list of options. Many of these offers include value added services, such as fixed prices (the rate per kwh, ccf, or therm is the same each month), green power (electricity generated from renewable resources such as wind, solar, or hydro), furnace repair service, or telephone service bundled with your energy bill. Check the comments column for information on these value added services. If you do not see an offer that interests you, try again next month.

Fixed Pricing -some ESCOs offer a fixed price for natural gas or electricity supply to provide you with protection from price volatility.  A fixed price may not guarantee savings on your energy bill.

Variable, Indexed, or Capped Pricing - You may see offers for variable products, which are tied to the market price for energy and may fluctuate depending on supply and demand.  ESCOs may also offer indexed or capped pricing mechanisms, tailored to your individual needs.

Other Value-Added Benefits - Ask about other value-added services, including green power from renewable energy resources, appliance repair and service contracts, and other benefits.
